This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Bilan AI cloud accounting and ERP platform and related services (the "Services") and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. It applies to all subscribers, invited users, and anyone accessing the Services. By using the Services you agree to this AUP.
1. Prohibited activities
You expressly agree not to engage in, and not to permit any user or third party to engage in, any of the following prohibited activities. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access, and may subject you to civil and criminal liability.
1.1 System Integrity
Undermine, breach, circumvent, or compromise the security, integrity, or authentication measures of the Services or of any Bilan AI computing systems, networks, or servers
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts, or any system, network, or data
Introduce, upload, or transmit any malware, computer virus, worm, Trojan horse, spyware, adware, or other malicious code
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or functioning of the Services, including through denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated load
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or of any Bilan AI system, network, or security controls without prior written authorisation
1.2 Intellectual Property
Modify, copy, adapt, reproduce, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the Services, except to the extent permitted by law
Create derivative works based upon the Services or any content therein
Use any data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering or extraction methods
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
1.3 Commercial Restrictions
Resell, lease, sublicense, provide to third parties, or otherwise commercially exploit the Services without express written permission
Repackage or resell any leads, data, or outputs accessed through the Services
Use the Services to develop competing products or services
Access the Services to benchmark or compare functionality for competitive intelligence without written permission
1.4 Content and Conduct
Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or infringing purpose or practice, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
Upload, store, share, post, or transmit any material or content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
Act in any manner that is abusive or disrespectful toward Bilan AI employees, partners, or other customers
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Upload, store, or process any data, including financial data, that you are not authorised to handle or to manage on behalf of the relevant entity
1.5 Financial Data Integrity
Enter, import, or manipulate financial data with the intent to create false, misleading, or fraudulent financial records
Use the Services to facilitate money laundering, tax evasion, or any financial crime
Tamper with, delete, or alter immutable audit trail records
Generate, export, or use financial reports for purposes that violate applicable accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) or regulatory requirements
1.6 AI and Automated Features
Attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or exploit any AI-powered features, categorisation engines, or automated workflows within the Services
Use AI-generated outputs from the Services as the sole basis for material financial, tax, or legal decisions without professional review
Input data into AI features for the purpose of training competing AI models or extracting model behaviour
2. Messaging & communications
When using email or SMS features, you must comply with all applicable laws and carrier requirements, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and CTIA guidelines. You must:
Only message recipients who have provided valid consent (opt-in);
Honor opt-out requests (e.g., STOP) promptly;
Not send prohibited content, including SHAFT categories (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco), phishing, or unlawful content;
Not send unsolicited bulk or spam messages.
3. Fair use & plan limits
Metered features (email, SMS, AI, storage, seats) are subject to the allowances of your plan. Automated, abusive, or excessive use that materially exceeds normal usage may be throttled or suspended.
4. Enforcement
Bilan AI reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation and to take any action it deems appropriate, including removing content, suspending access, terminating accounts, and reporting unlawful activity or referring matters to law enforcement authorities. Violations may be handled without prior notice where circumstances warrant, including where necessary to protect the Services or third parties.
